anyone know how to play dark autumn hour on the banjo? or Mount Marcy? It's hard to come by banjo tabs.

Hey guys,
I've mentioned to Davey several times that there's been some recurring interest from people for banjo tablature/instruction. Putting together a booklet of that kind of stuff is actually something he's talked about doing for a while--kind of in the style of this huge black book of handwritten banjo tablature he inherited from his instructor as a kid, which he lugged around all the time when I met him. I'll keep steady pressure on him to get some notation going. Thanks for your interest! I'm sure Davey is flattered as well. He'd tell you himself, but he's up at his cabin in Michigan's thumb at the moment (all of us off to our momentary solitary retreats following a long tour). That's another thing--I'm gonna keep trying to get the other guys to this board more often. You should beckon them with personalized questions and propositions!Posted 2 years ago # -

People! Banjo lovers! I love you for loving banjo. As Matt said, I've wanted to write tabs for select banjo parts for quite a while now. I'm finally getting around to it. Such a strange process to think out parts I've been playing like reflex for years.
Anyways- a couple little things will be ready before too long. They'll be in some digital format (hoping to actually write them out someday).
If you'd like, request something you'd want to learn and I'll try and tab it out for you.
