	Before this, Matt and Dave and sometimes Eli performed countless times in dubious parlors, living rooms, and naive-eyed dreamscapes full of a lot of people who have blown away. Played a bunch of times at Xhedos in Ferndale, a couple of famous-feeling open mics at Trixie's, the Chapman residence in glorious Sylvan Lake, New Year's Eve parties, Birmingham basements, and along docks of the St. Lawrence River. It seems to get happier in reverse, but blurrier than the heaven field.
